    We are excited to share some of our favourite memories of the season at Cosmoledo Atoll and celebrate the incredible fishery that has been providing us with unforgettable fishing moments.

    The past season at Cosmoledo Atoll saw the return of several good friends, as well as some newbies.

    Although Cosmoledo is well regarded as the GT Capital of the World, the wide range of species available to target certainly kept our anglers on their toes! The 2019-2020 season at Cosmoledo was action-packed with great numbers of fish species caught.

    Catch Highlights

    We know that any catch at Cosmoledo Atoll deserves to be celebrated, especially at a time when we can’t go fly fishing, but we have to single out a few achievements during the season.

    • A new record number of giant trevally caught in one week, landing 197 giant trevally between 10 anglers.
    • There have been a whopping 29 giant trevally measuring over a metre this season.
    • The largest giant trevally of the season measured at 1.23 metres.
    • Helmut Zaderer landed an incredible 4.89 kg/10.80 lbs bonefish.
    • The largest yellowmargin triggerfish measured in at an unbelievable 62 cm/24.40 inch
